With less than three months to Ghana's 2024 election, tensions are rising between the Electoral Commission (EC) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NDC has expressed concerns about the accuracy of the voters register, calling for a forensic audit to ensure the credibility of the upcoming election.
In response, the EC has acknowledged some anomalies but requested evidence to justify a full audit, a demand that has yet to be met.
In a bold move, the NDC is preparing to stage nationwide protests at EC offices this coming Tuesday, signaling their dissatisfaction and urging immediate action.
This protest marks a significant escalation, as the party aims to build pressure on the EC to address their concerns before the December polls.
On tonight's edition of The Probe will delve into these developments, examine the ongoing dialogue between the EC and the NDC, and explore how trust in the electoral process can be strengthened as the election draws near.
