Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has urged fans to desist from insulting the playing and technical body of the team as part of their criticism.
The former league champions have come under strong pressure from supporters of the club following back-to-back defeats in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians, however, bounced back to winning ways on Sunday, September 22, when they defeated Bechem United 2-0 on matchday three at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The positive result was an avenue for Ouattara to send a message across to the fans.
"We're working for them [supporters]. I understand when they criticise us," he told the media after the game.
"You can criticise us and say anything you like, but please do not insult [us]. What we need is unity. We need to stay together, and if that happens, I think we can achieve a lot."
The win on Sunday takes Hearts to the 10th position on the league table after three games with their next game against Nations FC.
