President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed his unwavering confidence in Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign for the 2024 presidential election.
He commended Bawumia’s dedication and strategic approach to the campaign, emphasising the positive reception of his message among Ghanaians.
President Akufo-Addo lauded Dr Bawumia's track record in government, noting that his contributions to national development have solidified his position as a strong contender for the presidency.
According to the President, Bawumia’s ability to address key issues and connect with the public has been a significant advantage in his campaign.
In an interview with France24, President Akufo-Addo expressed his confidence in Bawumia's chances of winning the upcoming election.
He highlighted the Vice President’s experience and commitment as critical factors that bolster his chances of leading the country.
President Akufo-Addo reiterated his belief in Bawumia’s leadership capabilities, stating that his track record and the support of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) would propel him toward success in the 2024 presidential race.
“I believe that first of all, he is waging a good campaign. He has a message resonating especially with the young people in Ghana," he stated.
