Medeama SC will make the trip to the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Sunday, aiming to break their Dormaa hoodoo as they face Aduana FC in a Week 8 Ghana Premier League clash.
With a rocky start to the season, Aduana will look to turn their fortunes around at home, while Medeama aim to keep pace at the top of the table.
It’s been a challenging campaign for Aduana FC, who have struggled to find consistency with just one win in their seven matches.
Sitting 14th with six points, the “Ogya boys” will be eager to notch up their second consecutive home victory.
Although they’ve netted six goals, they've conceded eight, a defensive lapse they’ll need to tighten up against an in-form Medeama side.
The “Mauve and Yellow” have had a bright start to the season, currently placed third with four wins, two draws, and only one loss.
As the league's second-best away team, they’ll be looking to bring that momentum to Dormaa, a venue where they’ve historically struggled.
Coach Nebojsa Kapor’s men, however, are eager to reverse their record and claim their first win at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
Aduana FC have been dominant at home against Medeama in recent seasons, with three wins and one draw in their last four encounters.
The hosts have consistently held the edge, with their latest triumph being a solid 2-0 win last season. Despite their league struggles, this impressive home record makes Aduana the favourites heading into the clash.
This Sunday, it’s a battle between Aduana’s need for redemption and Medeama’s quest for a historic victory in Dormaa.
