An accident involving a Bolga-Bawku vehicle has resulted in the death of one individual, with several others sustaining injuries in Binduri.
The incident took place on Monday, November 18.
An eyewitness reported that the vehicle, bearing registration number UE151-23, swerved off the road to avoid hitting a student who suddenly crossed its path. In the process, the driver lost control, leading to the fatal accident.
The driver, identified as Owou, died instantly at the scene. The passengers, who suffered varying degrees of injuries, were quickly transported to receive medical care.
The injured victims have been admitted to the Glory Medical Centre in Bazua, where they are receiving treatment. Medical personnel are closely monitoring their recovery.
Local authorities are expected to investigate the incident to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash.
