The National Secretariat of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) has extended its congratulations to John Mahama on his victory in the 2024 general elections.
GRASAG lauded the assumed winner of the 2024 presidential poll for securing the confidence of Ghanaians with his bold vision for an inclusive and prosperous future.
The association also commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, for demonstrating statesmanship by conceding defeat even before the Electoral Commission’s official declaration.
Highlighting the relevance of John Mahama’s policies, GRASAG stressed its excitement over the transformative initiatives outlined in its manifesto.
These include the 24-Hour Economy Policy, the Stress-Free Fees Policy, and plans to expand entrepreneurship and education opportunities.
The association believes these programme will address pressing issues such as youth unemployment, access to quality education, and economic empowerment.
As a representative body for graduate students nationwide, GRASAG pledged its commitment to collaborating with the president-elect to ensure the successful implementation of his campaign promises.
“We look forward to a prosperous era of development and opportunities for the youth of Ghana under his leadership,” stated Emmanuel Owusu, National President of GRASAG, and Rafiu Anwar-Sadat, General Secretary.
This victory, GRASAG noted, symbolises renewed hope and trust in John Mahama’s ability to steer Ghana towards sustainable development.
