Incumbent Ketu South Member of Parliament, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its leader, John Dramani Mahama, following her victory in the just-ended parliamentary elections.
Gomashie, who was re-elected to represent the people of Ketu South, described the outcome as a testament to the trust and confidence Ghanaians have in the NDC’s vision to rebuild the nation.

Speaking to a jubilant crowd shortly after her declaration as MP, Gomashie praised John Dramani Mahama as the leader Ghana needs at this critical time, saying, “John Mahama has proven that he possesses the qualities required to lead this nation. His experience, vision, and commitment make him the best president Ghana can ever ask for.”
NDC's Commitment to Development
Gomashie emphasized the NDC’s track record in infrastructure development and investment in human capital as key pillars of its governance philosophy. She urged Ghanaians to remain patient and trust the party to deliver on its promises, stressing that the NDC has consistently prioritized the welfare of citizens.

“The records of the NDC speak for themselves,” she said. “We believe in building infrastructure that lasts, investing in the human capital of our people, and creating opportunities for all. Let us come together to help bring Ghana back to where it was before.”
She noted that under John Mahama's leadership, Ghana witnessed significant progress in areas such as education, healthcare, and industrialization, and she is confident that the new administration will continue to prioritize these sectors.

A Call for Unity and Action
The MP urged all Ghanaians, irrespective of political affiliations, to work collectively toward the nation's recovery. She highlighted the challenges facing the country, including economic instability, unemployment, and social inequalities, and assured citizens that the NDC government is prepared to tackle these issues head-on.
“We are not oblivious to the struggles of our people,” Gomashie said. “But I can assure you that the NDC is ready to reset Ghana on the path of growth and prosperity. We need your support, your trust, and your patience as we work to restore hope and dignity to every Ghanaian.”
Hope for Ketu South
Gomashie also expressed gratitude to her constituents in Ketu South for their overwhelming support, pledging to continue serving with dedication and integrity. She reiterated her commitment to addressing local challenges, particularly in areas such as education, health, and infrastructure development.
“I am humbled by your trust and will work tirelessly to ensure that Ketu South receives its fair share of national development,” she assured.

A New Dawn for Ghana
As the NDC gears up to form the next government, Gomashie’s message underscores the party’s resolve to rebuild the country and restore confidence in its governance. Her rallying call to Ghanaians reflects the NDC’s broader vision of unity, resilience, and progress under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.
In her closing remarks, Gomashie declared, “Let us remember that this victory is not just for the NDC but for every Ghanaian who believes in a better future. Together, we will reset Ghana.”
The coming days will see the NDC rolling out its plans for governance, with Ghanaians eagerly awaiting the tangible changes promised during the campaign. For Abla Dzifa Gomashie and her party, the journey to rebuilding Ghana has just begun.
