A former manager of Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, has opened up about his contribution to Shatta Wale's performance at the 'Freedom Street Concert' held by Vybz Kartel in Jamaica.
In a social media post, Blakk Cedi expressed his appreciation to Shatta Wale for making him part of the team that ensured the success of the gig.
"I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to serve as part of your team during the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica. It was an honor to step in and contribute to your vision, and I do not take that privilege lightly," he wrote.
He added, "Your unwavering respect, trust, and love throughout this process truly humbled me. The warmth you extended made every step seamless, and it reinforced why you are so deeply admired by many."
Blakk also wished Shatta Wale well in his future endeavours.
"Being able to witness your artistry up close and play a role in this success was not just fulfilling but also inspiring. Thank you once again for entrusting me with such a responsibility. I am cheering for you every step of the way and look forward to seeing all the incredible heights you will reach. With deep respect and gratitude, I say 1 perfect love," he added.
After parting ways with Stonebwoy in 2019, Blakk Cedi was out of the media eye even though his Blakk Arm Group handled artistes such as Kelvynboy and OV.
Before leaving Stonebwoy's Burniton Music Group, Blakk shared a close relationship with the dancehall artiste. He was even Stonebwoy's best man at his wedding. An instance of his expression of love for the 'Baafira' hit maker was his defensive posture during the 2019 VGMAs when a scuffle ensure between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale on stage.
In the meantime, it is not clear if Blakk Cedis has officially joined Shatta Wale's management team.
