Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has dismissed concerns over criticism, emphasizing that his priority remains to deliver trophies for the club rather than engaging in public debates.

The Ivorian tactician has come under scrutiny following the Phobians’ recent exit from the FA Cup.

They suffered a disappointing Round of 16 elimination at the hands of lower-tier side Golden Kick FC, losing 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time.

Despite growing pressure from fans frustrated by the team’s inconsistent performances, Ouattara remains unfazed.

Speaking on Asempa FM, he acknowledged the criticism but insisted it would not deter him from his mission.

"Every coach will be criticized if things don’t go well. No problem. People can say anything they want—I don’t have any issue with that, and I’m not afraid,” he stated.

While some sections of the Hearts fanbase have called for change, Ouattara maintains that his job is to strive for success, not to determine his future at the club.

"If I’m the problem, I have no issue with that. My focus is on winning trophies. Whether I’m the right man for the job is not for me to decide," he added.

With the FA Cup campaign over, Hearts now shift their attention to the Ghana Premier League, where they currently sit fourth with 33 points.
