The Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini, has expressed his gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama following his nomination as Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.
In a Facebook post on Friday, February 28, Mr Suhuyini acknowledged the trust placed in him by the president and pledged his commitment to the role.
He described the appointment as a significant responsibility, which he does not take lightly.

“Thank you, Ya Allah. Please bless, protect, and elevate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, his immediate family, the National Democratic Congress, and our homeland Ghana! I don’t take this responsibility and confidence lightly,” he wrote.

Mr Suhuyini’s nomination has been met with congratulations from supporters and party members, who have expressed confidence in his ability to contribute effectively to the Ministry of Roads and Highways.
He has been vetted by the Appointments Committee and is expected to be approved soon.
