Sudan Football Association President, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar has dismissed reports of an ongoing row with Coach Kwasi Appiah over unpaid salaries.
It has been widely reported the Ghanaian gaffer who heads Sudan's senior national team is reluctant to continue his job, having been owed for months.
He is still in Ghana despite the looming 2026 World Cup qualifiers this month against Senegal and South Sudan.
"These claims [that we owe him] are not true, Jaafar said in a statement released.
"Kwasi is committed to his contract with the Sudanese Football Association and will arrive [in camp] on the agreed-upon dates.
"He has not yet received his financial dues due to banking transfer complications to Ghana, but we are working on resolving the issue in the coming hours. We need Kwasi with us to lead the national team."
Kwasi has been in Ghana for several weeks as his stay was further protracted following his role as a member of Asante Kotoko's Interim Management Committee.
The team, who lost their supporter Francis Frimpong Pooley as a result of hooliganism, laid him to rest on March 6.
The former Ghana coach qualified Sudan for this year's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and in the process of securing a spot for next year's Mundial.
Sudan top Group B with 10 points after four round of matches.
