Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo believes he can do better in terms of performances for the national team after his latest goal.
Semenyo scored the first of five goals as Ghana put up a five-star performance at the Accra Sports Stadium against Chad on matchday five of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
The goal against Chad was his third for the Black Stars in 21 games since making his debut in 2022 and his first since scoring against Angola in March 2023.
In an exclusive interview with Lawrence Baidoo for SuperSport, the Bournemouth attacker revealed his desire to keep improving in front of goal.
"I definitely want more goals. For sure. I think any player that plays in an attacking position wants more goals, but I feel like it's been some decent performances, some not great performances, but I mean, I'm quite humble. I know when I've played well. I know when I've played pretty badly," he said.
I spoke to Bournemouth star, Antoine Semenyo on the back of his goal for @GhanaBlackstars and their #FIFAWorldCup chances as they gear up for the clash vs. Madagascar on Monday.

Semenyo admitted he has not been clutch for the national team, but he's optimistic that he can only get better.
"So I'll just say it's just like a steady slope. It's just been very average, and I feel like I can still give, give more," he added.
"So I hope no one's judging me from these 26 games I've played so far. But yeah, there's more to come."
After scoring against Chad, Semenyo will hope he can get on the scoresheet again when the Black Stars face Madagascar in their next game on Monday, March 24, in an attempt to stretch their lead in Group I of the World Cup Qualifiers.
