The Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has called into question the credibility of a response issued by Kwakye Ofosu regarding the details of two flights, alleging that the information provided is inaccurate and misleading.
This follows concerns raised by the Minority in Parliament regarding the aircraft’s activities in the country.
Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defense and Interior Committee, John Ntim Fordjour, alleged that the air ambulance and another private jet may have been involved in drug trafficking or money laundering, a claim Joy News cannot independently confirm.
Speaking during a discussion on JoyNews’ Newsfile programme on Saturday, Ntim Fordjour strongly refuted claims made by Kwakye Ofosu, describing them as unreliable.

According to Mr Fordjour, the flight itinerary in question was erroneous, further undermining the trustworthiness of Mr Ofosu’s statements.
"The response that Kwakye Ofosu put out there is simply not credible. The itinerary of the flight is inaccurate," Mr Fordjour said.
He further explained that the situation was made worse by the swift intervention of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), who immediately politicised the issue and sought to debunk the original information.
Mr Fordjour pointed to the efforts of JoyNews, which, he claims, took it upon themselves to fact-check the details.
"When I initially raised the matter, the NDC quickly came in and politicised it," Mr Fordjour continued.
He added "However, your own station, JoyNews, took the trouble to verify the itinerary and confirmed that indeed, these two flights had entered the country."
The lawmaker stressed that this verification from a major news outlet further demonstrated the inaccuracies in Mr Ofosu’s claims.
