International sports mentor and philanthropist, Jeffery Nkrumah, has publicly responded to the recent allegations circulated by Ghana Athletics, accusing him of undermining its authority.
There were also allegations of sexual abuse, which have been widely republished across several media outlets.
In a recent statement released, Mr. Nkrumah categorically denied the allegations, describing them as baseless and damaging to his reputation.
He emphasised that he was never contacted or given an opportunity to respond before the accusations were published, and confirmed that he is not a member of Ghana Athletics.
Mr. Nkrumah, who has built a global career mentoring athletes across the UK, USA, Ghana, and Kenya, stated that the allegations have already affected his professional engagements, with potential contracts and partnerships now placed on hold.
He confirmed that demand notices have been issued to Ghana Athletics and the media outlets involved, calling for a full retraction and public apology.
