Hearts of Oak have renewed their pursuit of winger Evans Osei Owusu as the club looks to strengthen its squad for next season.
The 24-year-old is currently a free agent after parting ways with champions FC Samartex at the end of the campaign.
The club is targeting experienced players with a proven track record in the league, and Osei-wusu is seen as an ideal fit.
Sources close to the Phobians say initial talks are underway with the player’s representatives, with a formal approach expected soon.
Hearts may not have a free run at the player, with at least one other top-flight side also expressing interest.
Osei-Wusu was one of the standout performers in the just-ended season, registering 11 goals and 8 assists in 27 appearances.
