Ghana international Thomas Partey has described Cristiano Ronaldo as a machine who is hungry for goals.
Partey first faced the Portugal international during the La Liga game between Real Madrid and Almeria in the 2014/15 season, with his side losing both encounters.
Ronaldo scored twice in the two meetings, with both goals coming in the first meeting in 2014 during Madrid's 1-4 win.
Speaking in an interview with Kafui Dey, Partey lavished praise on the 40-year-old's hunger for goals.
"Yes, [I played against Ronaldo] when I was in Almeria," he said. "I think he is a machine who is focused on goals; he only wants to score."
"When you play against Madrid, you enjoy the game more than you play against Barcelona; you still lose anyway. You can dominate all you want, but they get the ball and feed Ronaldo and boom, they score."
Partey admitted that playing against Lionel Messi was also difficult.
"Playing against Messi is very difficult," he added.
"You are not only playing against Messi. You are playing against Iniesta, Busquets, Xavi and the others. You stay with Messi, and someone else scores."
