The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of deliberately stalling the collation process in the Ablekuma North constituency of the Greater Accra region, following the 2025 general elections.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Justin Kodua claimed the NDC is resorting to delay tactics because it did not win the election in the constituency.
“If the NDC had genuinely won the Ablekuma North elections, the results would have been declared by now,” he stated.
“They know they have lost, and what they are doing is only to frustrate the process.”
Mr Kodua also alleged that the Ghana Police Service is acting in favour of the NDC, accusing them of aiding the opposition’s efforts to obstruct the collation.
“We have met as a National Executive Council and concluded that the police are doing the bidding of the NDC.
But as a party, we are taking legal steps and will announce them soon. We won’t sit back and allow this kind of frustration over an election we have clearly won,” he said.
