Bibiani GoldStars have been paired against Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Ghana Premier League champions, who will be participating in the inter-club competition for the first time, will take on JS Kabylie from September 19 to 21 before traveling to Algeria for the decisive return fixture from September 26 to 28.
Frimpong Manso’s side, if they advance, will meet the winner of the tie between East End Lions of Sierra Leone and Tunisia’s US Monastir in the second preliminary phase.

The second preliminary round is scheduled to take place from October 17 to 19 for the first leg, and October 24 to 26 for the return fixture.
The aggregate winner will secure a coveted spot in the group stage of Africa’s premier club competition.
GoldStars are in Accra, intensely training and engaging in pre-season games ahead of the next football season.
Up next for the Bibiani side is the GHALCA Top Four competition, slated for August 20, involving Asante Kotoko, Heart of Lions, and Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
