The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced that the 2025 enlistment and recruitment exercise is set to commence in the coming days across all 16 regional capitals of the country.
In a press release issued on Monday, September 29, the GAF stated that this decentralised approach is aimed at offering equal opportunity to all eligible applicants, regardless of location.
According to the statement, official details regarding the recruitment process will be communicated strictly through the Ghana Armed Forces' verified platforms, including their websites and as well as through state-owned newspapers such as the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times.
The Armed Forces has also issued a strong warning to the general public against fraudulent recruitment adverts and links circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

It emphasised that no legitimate enlistment information will be shared through these channels or by any individuals claiming affiliation with the military hierarchy.
“The general public is kindly informed that any purported recruitment links on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or any other social media platforms inviting people for protocol recruitment is a scam and should be ignored,” the statement cautioned.
“Additionally, no such enlistment or recruitment invitation will emanate from any member of the Ghana Armed Forces or its High Command and should be ignored as well.”
The Ghana Armed Forces called for public cooperation to ensure the integrity of the recruitment process and urged prospective applicants to remain vigilant and rely solely on official sources of information.
