The National Sports Authority (NSA) has assured fans of an enhanced matchday experience at the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of Sunday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Comoros.
The Black Stars will wrap up their World Cup qualifying campaign on Sunday after thrashing the Central African Republic 5–0 in Morocco on Thursday. All eyes are now on the decisive encounter against Comoros, with just a point needed to secure Ghana’s fifth World Cup appearance.
Director General of the NSA, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has pledged a significantly improved experience for fans attending Sunday’s fixture.
“Obviously, we can’t do anything beyond our means, but we’re doing our best to ensure fans have a great experience each time they visit the Accra Sports Stadium,” he said.
“On Sunday, you’ll see an elevated experience again. We can’t do it all, it’s not Stamford Bridge, the Emirates, or Anfield — but this is Ghana’s Wembley.”
