Young Apostles fought from a goal down to claim a point in their Ghana Premier League game against Berekum Chelsea.
Young Apostles scored in the second half of the encounter at home to ensure they continued their unbeaten run.
Chelsea opened the scoring in the 35th minute of the game when Marvin Owusu netted to break the deadlock in the game.
This was after a great spell of momentum for Samuel Boadu’s side at the Wenchi Stadium.
Chelsea went into the break with result on their side after Owusu’s opener.
However, Young Apostles came from the break firing at all cylinders.
The home side got opportunities to draw level in the opening minutes of the half but fluffed their finish.
However, there was no denying Issah Huseine in the 71st minute as she drew Young Apostles leveled in the game.
Despite the show of great intensity in the dying embers of the game, none of the two teams was able to snatch a late winner as the game ended 1-1.
The result sees Young Apostles stay in eighth position with 11 points from six games while Chelsea are just a point above the relegation zone.
