Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani believes his side showed promising signs despite their 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko in the Week 9 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
Guinean forward Morifing Donzo scored the only goal of the match to hand Kotoko all three points in the Super Clash on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In his post-match remarks, Didi Dramani acknowledged areas where his team under-performed but insisted that the result was not a fair reflection of their efforts.
“In my opinion, we didn’t deserve to lose,” he said. “We didn’t do well in some areas, and we need to improve, but overall, the performance showed good signs.”
The Hearts boss added that the game provided his players with important lessons as they continue to build momentum.
“The match was closely contested, and the outcome wasn’t what we expected,” Didi Dramani stated. “We have identified some challenges and strengths, and there are key learning moments we can take forward.”
Hearts will travel to Swedru to play All Black as Didi Dramani's side seeks to return to winning ways.
