Ghanaian artiste Edem has shared his thoughts on the importance of choosing the right partner.
He has therefore emphasised what he believes is key to building a stable and lasting marriage.
In an interview with blogger Zionfelix, the ‘Xe Toto’ singer reflected on how he has maintained a healthy home with his wife over the years.
According to Edem, finding a woman with strong maternal instincts before settling down is ideal.
“If you want to marry a woman, look for somebody who’s a mother figure,” he said.
He explained that the ability to raise, groom and care for children is crucial in sustaining a strong family.
He added that even if a marriage faces challenges, children often remain closer to their mother, making her role in shaping the home especially important.
Edem married Stacey in 2014.
