Forward Albert Amoah has made a sensational return to Asante Kotoko on loan less than three months after joining Al Ahly Benghazi.
Amoah signed for the Libyan side in October following their 5-1 loss to Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) of Morocco in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final round eliminator.
The former Great Olympics striker scored 15 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions last season and began this season with four goals in seven outings.
However, the 24-year-old did not make any appearances for Benghazi.
Kotoko have struggled to convert chances, having failed to record a Premier League win this year, which leaves them in fourth and six points behind leaders Medeama.
The Porcupines will face GoldStars in their next encounter on January 17 in Bibiani.
Amoah was not registered in time to feature in that match but will be available for subsequent games.
