Kofi Iddie Adams, Sports and Recreation Minister, is set to launch the 2026 University of Ghana Corporate Football League (UGCFL) on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, at the University of Ghana Stadium VIP Lounge.
The press launch will bring together the participating corporate institutions, special invited guests and members of the media to officially unveil plans for the 2026 season, which is scheduled to run from February to June 2026.
The event marks the formal commencement of activities for another highly anticipated edition of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League.
Following a season filled with passion, intensity, and memorable moments in 2025, the 2026 UG Corporate Football League promises a stronger, more competitive, and professionally organized competition.
The organizers, University of Ghana Sports Directorate and RITE Sports Services will outline key improvements, competition structure, and expectations for the upcoming season.
The UG Corporate Football League has grown into a respected platform that promotes teamwork, wellness, and networking among corporate institutions, while also delivering exciting football entertainment.
The league continues to bridge the gap between sport and the corporate community within an elite university environment.
Matches for the 2026 season will be played every Friday evening from 5pm to 10pm at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, providing consistent football action for fans and stakeholders throughout the season.
As anticipation builds toward kickoff, the press launch sets the tone for what promises to be another compelling season of corporate football at the University of Ghana stadium,starting Friday, 13th February, 2026.
