Tensions have escalated in the Nkwanta South Municipality following the killing of three individuals linked to the ongoing local conflict.
The victims, identified as 77-year-old Nana Achinake Iddrisu, 24-year-old Fusheni Achinake, and 17-year-old Nuhu Achinake, were reportedly attacked while working on their farm and burnt beyond recognition.
The latest incident has heightened fear among residents, forcing many to flee the area as the security situation continues to deteriorate.

Sources say the town has largely been deserted, with escalating tensions raising concerns about further violence.

No arrests have been made in connection with the killings, while investigations are ongoing.
