Black Stars Jordan Ayew says he is looking forward to a strong performance from the team against Austria later on Friday.
Ghana will face Austria at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna in the first of two friendlies during the March international break as they continue to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Three days later, the Black Stars will face 2014 world champions Germany in Stuttgart to close their window for this month.
Speaking ahead of Friday's fixture, Ayew touched on the relevance of the fixture and its importance as part of their build-up to the Munidial.
“Every game is important. Even though we know these two games are really important, previously the other games were important as well. But sometimes, it is what it is,” he said.
“Tomorrow [Today] is going to be a tough game, and Monday will be a tough game, so we’ll do our best.
"We are preparing really well tactically, technically and physically. We’re looking good, so let’s see what happens."
The game is scheduled to kick off at 17:00 GMT with live commentary on Joy 99.7 FM. Â
