The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has reminded the public that prior approval must be obtained before organising cultural performances at the airport to welcome arriving passengers.

In a Facebook post, GACL encouraged patrons to give their loved ones a memorable welcome but stressed that all cultural performances require prior approval from the Commercial Services Department.

The company said enquiries can be directed to 0302 550612 Ext. 6147.

GACL further cautioned that unauthorised cultural performances without the express approval of the Airport Authority are not permitted at the airport.

It also reiterated that filming at the airport by third parties is prohibited due to security considerations, adding that approval will only be granted where there are essential reasons.
