The police in the Ashanti Region have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of Emmanuel Agyie Baffour, a second-year Visual Arts student at the Mampong Technical College of Education.
His body was discovered after nearly a month of being reported missing, while school was on vacation.
Popularly known on social media as ‘Atom De Morale Spirit’, the 22-year-old student gained recognition for his spirited performances and energetic ‘Jama’ musical displays during campus events and other antics on the TikTok platform.
His mates had anticipated seeing him when school reopened. But his lifeless body was reportedly found in a bush at Jachie Pramso under circumstances yet to be clarified by the police.

The news of Atom’s untimely death has left family, colleagues, friends, and a growing online following in shock and mourning, with many taking to social media to share fond memories and tributes.
“Oh legend of happiness, joy, and comfort giver, whom God Almighty use you and your mate to save some of us. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen,” said Blessing, a TikTok follower.
Police say investigations are underway to unravel the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent death.
