The Association of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairmen in the Ashanti Region have congratulated, Nana Akufo Addo and the party's members of Parliament-elect for their re-election at the just ended general election.
They also appealed to the entire party structure and sympathisers to remain calm and resort to internal party structures in addressing all outstanding issues and grievances.
The congratulation message was carried in a communique signed by the Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen of NPP, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah at their end of year meeting held in Kumasi.
Calls for Calm
The association has also charged all party faithfuls to refrain from resorting to the media as a forum for addressing party grievances instead of internal party structures.
It therefore acknowledge and commended the media for the crucial role it played during the just ended election and lauding them.
Again, the association also expressed its appreciation to the rank and file of the party for the victory achieved in the December elections.
The Association also used the opportunity to wish all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and prosperous New year.
