Kow Essuman, Legal Advisor to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has lauded the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, for his relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment to the youth of Ghana.
In a recent documentary titled “Man of Destiny,” produced in honour of Dr Bawumia, Mr Essuman highlighted the Vice President’s remarkable dedication to fostering the development and aspirations of young Ghanaians.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who also serves as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the upcoming 2024 general elections, has consistently emphasized the importance of youth empowerment.
According to Mr Essuman, Dr Bawumia’s leadership style reflects an inclusive approach, where he actively engages with individuals across all sectors, particularly the younger generation.
He noted that this demonstrates Dr Bawumia’s belief in the potential and capabilities of the youth in shaping the nation's future.
Mr Essuman further praised Dr Bawumia’s humility and openness, stating that the Vice President listens to everyone without discrimination.
He elaborated that this quality sets Dr Bawumia apart, as he values the contributions and concerns of all citizens, regardless of their age or status. This accessibility and attentiveness have endeared him to many, particularly young people seeking guidance and inspiration.
“He’s very hardworking and he thinks about the future a lot and encourages many young people. I find that a lot.”
“I remember there was a meeting one time and I looked around and everyone in the room was a young person and this was Dr Bawumia having this meeting and taking ideas from young people and always wanted to know what they had to say. I have actually been in meetings with the elderly and I think this meeting I don’t need to speak and he will call you that Kow what do you think,” he stated.
