The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned maintenance exercise that will result in a temporary power outage in parts of the Accra West Region.
In a notice, ECG indicated that the scheduled maintenance is aimed at improving service delivery and ensuring a more reliable power supply to customers.
The exercise is expected to take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

ECG said the planned works will affect several communities, including: Fadama, Kwashieman, Nyamejye, Darkuman, Abeka, Lapaz, Tabora, Race Course, Kwashiebu, Chantan, Hansonic.
The others are m nDansoman Junction, Mallam Junction, McCarthy, Choice, Sampa Valley, Alogboshie, Achimota Neoplan, Benjilo, Manhean, Oduman, and surrounding areas.
The power distributor apologised for the inconvenience the maintenance exercise may cause.
