The Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has charged Asante Kotoko for an “inciteful” comment on social media.
The Porcupine Warriors posted a comment on their platforms suggesting the match officials got their decision wrong after a penalty was awarded to hosts Samartex.
“Referee Aduntera has awarded a penalty for a foul outside the box,” Kotoko posted on their platform on X, formerly Twitter.
The GFA said the statement “posed a risk of violence against match officials.”
The Kumasi-based club has been given until Wednesday, November 26, 2025, to respond to the charges.

Meanwhile, Kotoko played out a goalless draw with the Samreboi-based club and now sit fourth on the Ghana Premier League table.
