Ghana’s premier event on artificial intelligence (AI), the Ghana AI Summit & Awards 2025, has officially announced the winners for this year’s prestigious awards.
The event, which celebrates AI innovation and application across various sectors, honoured individuals, organisations, and initiatives that have made extraordinary contributions to the advancement of AI technology in Ghana.
The awards ceremony recognised remarkable AI-driven solutions transforming industries across the country. A standout winner was the AI-powered system for cocoa disease detection, set to revolutionise agriculture by improving crop health and productivity.
Other notable advancements included AI solutions addressing complex business challenges and AI-powered credit scoring systems that are fostering greater financial inclusion.
These innovations underscore the pivotal role AI plays in driving sustainable development and technological progress in Ghana.
Dr. Kwami Ahiabenu, Chair of the Ghana AI Summit 2025, highlighted the significance of the awards in positioning Ghana as a leader in Africa’s emerging AI sector.
He stated that the recognition of these innovative solutions would act as a catalyst, propelling further AI advancements and encouraging continued growth in the sector.

- Best AI Services Solution Provider: mNotify’s AI-driven Text-to-Speech (TTS) Bulk Voice Call Platform
- Best AI for Social Good: Abena AI (Africa's First Offline AI Voice Assistant)
- Best AI Startup of the Year: AI Powered Credit Scoring Algorithms (Fido)
- Best AI-Based Solution for Financial Banking Services: AI-driven Fintech Solution (Fido)
- Best AI Innovation of the Year: SNWOLL MEET – Virtual Meeting Minutes Capture (NPONTU)
- Best AI-Based Solution for Cybersecurity: AI to Detect Social Engineering Attacks (Dr. Michael Abobor)
The Ghana AI Summit and Awards 2025, organised by Knowledge Innovations in partnership with Deloitte Ghana, was to celebrate the visionary minds revolutionising AI in Ghana.
