Ghana earned $370.622 million from crude oil in the first half of 2025, the First-Half Petroleum Semi-Annual Report has revealed.
Out of that, the country secured $218.62 million from crude oil liftings.
The crude oil lifting took place between January 2025 and March 2025.
The country also got $148.75 million from corporate tax during the first half of 2023.
The taxes were from crude oil liftings by Kosmos Energy, Tullow Oil, ENI Ghana, Vitol and Petro SA.
Surface rentals also contributed $863,045, whilst income from Petroleum Holding Fund was estimated at $2.376 million.
Investments from Ghana Petroleum Funds estimated at $1.424bn
Investments from the Ghana Petroleum Holding Funds were estimated at $1.42 billion in the first-half of 2025.
For the Ghana Heritage Funds, the nation earned $1.301 billion during the period.
Similarly, the Ghana Stabilisation Fund had investments worth $122.9 million
