Hearts of Oak's winless run continued in the Ghana Premier League when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Bibiani Gold Stars.
Gold Stars took the lead through Gideon Anaba's expertly dispatched penalty after 75 minutes.
The Phobians were within minutes of a third straight defeat before Stephen Appiah Asare scored his debut league goal for Hearts in the second minute of stoppage time.
Before either side scored, there was a moment of controversy when referee Foster Bastiours awarded a penalty to Gold Stars, midway through the second half.
However, after consulting with his assistant on the nearside, the referee rescinded the decision.
Subsequently, the yellow card awarded to Hearts of Oak's Kelvin Osei Asibey was also rescinded.
Sunday's result means Hearts of Oak are unbeaten in four visits to the Duns Park at Bibiani.
The result also leave Hearts further behind in the title race and are now five points behind leaders Asante Kotoko who are on 42 points.
The Phobians are fourth on the league table, while Gold Stars remain in second position with 41 points.
