Vision FC coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, has commended his team’s spirited performance despite their 1-0 loss to Accra Hearts of Oak.
A second-half strike by Mawuli Wayo secured maximum points for Hearts against Vision F.C on Friday.
Looking back on the closely contested match, Agyemang spoke with pride about his team's gallant efforts.

“I think my boys lost, but they lost gallantly—they gave a very good account of themselves. We took the ball to Accra Hearts of Oak; we wanted to show that we have energy, and that’s exactly what we did,” he said.
“In the second half, they were visibly tired, and we kept pushing, but unfortunately, the door wouldn’t open for us.”
However, Agyemang also admitted that his team may have shown the Phobians too much respect, especially in the first 20 minutes.
“In the first half, yes, we might have given them a bit too much respect—it’s Accra Hearts of Oak, after all. But in the second half, we went all out. Even after conceding an early goal, we didn’t give up,” he remarked.
“The player marking Hamza Issah is only 16, paired with an 18-year-old, and they handled Hamza with care.”
Vision fc will look to regroup after falling to the Phobians, when they face Dreams FC.
