Despite scoring three goals against Ludogorets in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League playoff round, Mohammed Kudus says the game was far from one of his best for Ajax.
The Ghana international inspired the Dutch side to a 4-1 win away from home and put them on course for qualification to the group stages.
The three goals on Thursday night was the 23-year-old's first career hattrick and looked like it was one of the best games Kudus has starred for the club.
However, the player says he's had better games than that despite his contribution on the night.
"No [I had nothing to prove]. I just did my stuff like always for the team to win. Glad everyone was top and we got the win," he said.
"This was my first hat trick but I don’t think it’s one of my best matches. I think we goals, yeah, but performance, I have had better than this."
There are suggestions the game Ludogorets might be Kudus' last with Ajax and the player also admitted at the end of the fixture.
