Fashion Designer and Creative Director for Spicy Attire, Abigail Ofosuwaa Addo has said that she enrolled in a fashion school due to the unavailability of jobs for university graduates.
In an interview with Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning Tuesday, she indicated that fashion has always been her interest during her days at the university, thus, enrolling in a school to develop her capabilities.
"When I became the vice president of my hall at university, I was very cautious about fashion. After my service, I had no job and I was still into fashion and very passionate about it. So I was like, 'why not go to a fashion school?'" she said.
Madam Ofosuwaa Addo added, "if not for nothing at all, I can sew my own dresses without bordering or being disappointed by fashion designers."
She said it has been lucrative for the past five years since she completed and started the fashion business.
The creative director, who is mainly into traditional bridal wear, explained that she is fascinated by clothing details, admitting that it is more paying.
The Fashion Designer further indicated that the niceness of bridal wear is dependent on the budget of the bride.
"Personally, I love details, and when it comes to details, the ordinary person wouldn’t want to spend so much on a normal dress. So you can give out the details to the bride and they’re ready to pay."
The fashion designer admonished passionate young ladies to venture into the fashion business as booms worldwide.
