AZ Alkmaar forward Ibrahim Sadiq has been called up to the Black Stars squad for the upcoming games against Sudan.
Ghana face Sudan on matchday three and four of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers hoping to get their campaign back on track.
The winger is part of four players to have received a late callup following injuries to some of the players invited by Otto Addo.
Sadiq, who has enjoyed a great start to the 2024/25 season with AZ, comes in for Ibrahim Osman who has picked up an injury.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate comes into the senior national team for the first time having played for the junior ranks during his career.
Sadiq played for the Black Starlets where he scored once in four appearances while also registering three outings with the Black Satellites.
In the current season, Sadiq has scored four goals and provided three assists in eight games across all competitions for the Dutch side.
The other players to have received late call-ups into the team are Michael Baidoo, Abu Francis and Jonas Adjei Adjetey.
Ghana face Sudan in the first meeting on Thursday, October 10 before travelling to Libya for the second encounter on October 15.
