Osman Ayariga has officially assumed office as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority (NYA), following his appointment by President John Dramani Mahama.
He commenced his duties today, Wednesday, 29 January, with a firm declaration of his commitment to serving the nation’s youth.
His appointment comes at a crucial time when youth empowerment and development remain central to the government’s agenda.
Speaking at his swearing-in ceremony, Ayariga reaffirmed his dedication to the mandate of the NYA, vowing to work tirelessly to uplift young people across the country.
“I am here to serve,” he declared. “My priority is to ensure that the aspirations of Ghanaian youth are addressed through policies and initiatives that create opportunities for growth, skills development, and employment.”
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and the Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Ernest Adomako.
Their presence underscored the broad support and expectations surrounding Ayariga’s leadership at the Authority.
He expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to collaborate with stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes for Ghana’s youth.
