A recent survey by Global InfoAnalytics ahead of the Kpandai parliamentary rerun indicates that New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate Matthew Nyindam is narrowly ahead, garnering 50% of voter support.
Released on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the poll shows Nyindam leading his closest rival, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Daniel Nsala Wakpal, who has 46% backing.
Independent candidate Donkor Eric Nipani is projected to attract around 1% of the votes, while 3% of respondents remain undecided.
The survey reveals that the race remains tightly contested, with Nyindam’s lead falling within a ±3.9% margin of error, indicating limited movement among voters.

About 2% of Nyindam’s previous supporters have shifted to Wakpal, matched by an equal percentage of Wakpal’s supporters moving to Nyindam.
Notably, the poll highlights a significant transfer of support from Donkor Eric Nipani, with 28% of his previous backers now favouring Nyindam, contributing to his current marginal lead.
Global InfoAnalytics’ findings suggest that while the contest is highly competitive, Nyindam retains a slight edge, underscoring the importance of turnout and voter mobilisation in the lead-up to the rerun scheduled for December 30, 2025.
