All newly promoted Commissioners of Police (COPs) and Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCOPs) have been adorned with their badges of ranks and crest by the Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh.
At a parade held in his office at the Police Headquarters, the IGP congratulated the newly promoted officers and admonished them to put in great efforts to ensure the security and safety of the public.
“Ghanaians expect more from us, and it is expected that with the new elevation you will bring your policing experiences to bear in the year 2020”, he stated.
All the decorated officers were Police Management Board (POMAB) members except one.
