The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it has referred the violence that occurred at the Greater Accra Regional Office during the vetting of aspirants for the Odododiodio Constituency parliamentary primary to a special committee.
According to the party, all processes related to the primary in the constituency have also been put on hold pending the outcome of investigations by the Committee.
In a letter signed by General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and sighted by JoyNews, the NDC said the decision was taken at a meeting by FEC on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

He listed Rt. Hon. Edward Doe Adjaho, Former Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Samuel Sarpong who is the National Vice Chairman of the party and George Loh, Deputy Director of Legal Affairs as some members of the committee.
