President of RNAQ Holdings, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has marked the 2026 Homowo celebrations with a donation to the Ga Traditional Council and a commitment to establish an educational fund to support brilliant but needy students from the Ga and Ga-Dangme communities.

Mr Armah Quaye, through the RNAQ Foundation, made the donation on Saturday, August 8, during a courtesy visit to the Ga Paramount Stool House, where he met the Ga Mantse and presented cash and drinks in support of the annual Homowo festival.

The donation, valued at GH¢200,000, was intended to support the celebrations as well as contribute to the wider Ga community.

As part of the support, Mr Armah Quaye also provided four trucks of drinks for Ga youth as a gesture of goodwill and community engagement during the Homowo festivities.

The presentation at the Stool House brought together traditional leadership and representatives of the RNAQ Foundation as the foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting communities and creating opportunities for young people.

Speaking during the visit, Mr Armah Quaye said his support for the Ga community was not limited to the financial donation for the festival.

He said he wanted to work with the Ga Mantse to establish a scholarship and educational fund that would provide support for young people who have academic potential but lack the financial means to continue their education.

“We didn’t only bring money but I want to collaborate with Ga Mantse to establish a scholarship fund and educational fund to help Ga and Ga Adangbe brilliant but needy students,” he said.

The proposed initiative is expected to provide educational support to brilliant but needy students from the Ga and Ga-Dangme communities, extending the foundation’s contribution beyond the immediate Homowo celebrations.
