The World Diplomatic Federation has honoured Atta Issah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu, with the National Progress and Human Capital Catalyst award.
It recognises his outstanding contributions to infrastructure development, education, and youth empowerment.
Mr Isaac Rockson, the Superintendent General of the World Diplomatic Federation, praised the MP’s dedication to sustainable projects, human capital development, and proactive leadership.
“His admirable, action-oriented approach transforms Sagnarigu through sustainable projects, creating a tangible, prosperous future,” he said in Parliament House on Wednesday.
Mr Rockson said the award ceremony highlighted Mr Issah’s achievements, including being recognised as Northern Regional MP of the Year 2025 for his visionary approach and integrity.
He explained that the Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute and the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce, and Administration conducted the assessment and presented the results.
Mr Issah, the MP for Sagnarigu, expressed gratitude, attributing his success to God and the people of his constituency.
“I was given the courage and dedication to serve the good people of Sagnarigu with all humility, trust, and commitment,” he said.
He said the award was a recognition of the efforts of the NDC government, led by President John Dramani Mahama.
