Midfielder, Emmanuel Keyekeh, scored a tremendous goal in FC Samartex’s 2-1 win over Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Monday.
The win sent the 2022 Division One Zone 2 winners five points clear at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
Despite the big result, it was Keyekeh’s strike that stole the headlines for all the right reasons.
He picked up the loose ball from about 30 yards out, nutmegged the onrushing Aduana defender, and let fly into the back of the net.
Samartex Head Coach, Amadu Nurudeen, praised his star man for the strike but revealed he wasn’t too surprised by the outcome.
“It was a fantastic strike. He’s been practicing it, and I guess practice makes perfect.
“He has the ability from range and I always encourage him to go forward and attempt long shots when the chances come, so it’s not that surprising.”
