Telecel Ghana has launched its annual flagship campaign to support and connect small and medium-sized enterprises to growth and value-added opportunities.
Launched on Tuesday, September 3, the event brought together business leaders, partners, the media and the Telecel Senior Management Team.
Open to all SMEs in Ghana, this year’s SME Month under the theme ‘Connecting Businesses: Connecting the Woman in Business,’ is packed with a comprehensive suite of offers, rewards, business accelerators, networking and capacity-building initiatives, some specifically targeted at women entrepreneurs, to drive economic growth and innovation.
“This year, we have several packages with benefits designed to elevate SMEs, with an emphasis on supporting women in business,” said Tawa Bolarin, Director of Enterprise Business and Wholesale at Telecel Ghana.
As part of SME Month, Telecel Ghana will roll out a series of industry-first initiatives to give a boost to emerging businesses, including:
- Launch of Red Loyalty for Business: Businesses will earn redeemable points for every transaction on the Telecel business packages.
- Telecel Women in Business Package: A groundbreaking initiative that offers a suite of resources specifically crafted to empower and grow women-led businesses.
- The Women in Business Webinars: A series of interactive events where women entrepreneurs share their journeys, challenges, and achievements. ‘The Empire She Built’ is the theme of the first webinar and will be hosted by TV personality and entrepreneur, Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay).
- Connecting Hustles: A live podcast conversation for young entrepreneurs to learn about starting businesses, scaling up and achieving sustainable success.
- Women 100 Networking Event: A premium networking opportunity bringing together 100 influential women entrepreneurs for an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and empowerment.
- Sustainability Initiatives: SMEs will learn about incorporating sustainability into their business, irrespective of their size, plus an experiential sustainability expedition.
- Cashback on Merchant Fees: All Telecel Merchants will enjoy a significant 50% cashback on Merchant fees, allowing them to reinvest in their growth.
- Other Loyalty and Rewards Initiatives:
- Free advertisement opportunities in the media to help customers reach wider audiences to grow their businesses.
- 50% bill discount to selected customers.
- New customers qualify for phone rewards
- Gift packs, vouchers, coupons and other giveaways for loyal customers
