An accident on the Airport Bypass Road earlier this morning has left three people injured and caused heavy traffic congestion in the area.
The crash involved a red Hyundai Elantra (GE 1315-18) and a trotro minibus (GS 5979-22).
While the exact cause of the accident remains unclear, eyewitnesses reported that the trotro was speeding and veered into the opposite lane, colliding with the Hyundai Elantra.
The occupants of the Hyundai Elantra sustained injuries and were quickly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Other road users managed to clear the buildup of traffic, restoring the normal flow of vehicles in the area.
