Vision FC boss Nana Agyemang has commended the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for its recent financial intervention, which seeks to provide every Ghana Premier League club with one million cedis.
Speaking in an interview during the Ghana Football Association's Congress, he said, "I'm sure that the players are jumping about by now. Most clubs suffered last year in terms of salary payments and stuff like that. A lot of clubs were behind.
"Players will cry out, and you know, do all of that, but I think that with this money, players are gonna be more settled. Be able to go into their games, not thinking about financial burden anymore."
Agyemang expressed his hope that club owners would utilise the funds to take care of their players and the club as a whole.
"My hope is that you know, the club owners would use these monies and take care of the players in the club as a whole, and I think that if that happens, then players can get onto the field. We ask that coaches can have a good job done with them, and everything will go well."
The coach concluded by praising the GFA and its leadership. "So, for me, I just say kudos to the GFA, kudos to Kurt for being able to get this for the clubs. It goes a long way to help Ghana football."
With the 2025/26 GPL season set to commence on 12th September, Agyemang will be looking to build on his side's 11th-place finish last season.
